I am im doubt between
a) SanDisk Ultra ii (240GB)
b) Toshiba Q series (256GB).

In benchmarks, the Toshiba is superior. It also has 8 blocks of memory while the Ultra II has four. It uses TLC memory while the Ultra II uses MLC.
But on the other side, it lacks a DRAM module, lacks S.M.A.R.T. software to manage the disk and know how worn it is, lacks a lot of gimmicks SanDisk employs to increase duration.
Price is the same in my area.
Provided they both have solid performance, consider I care much more for realiability and duration than speed.

I also ask you if warranty covers simple wear.. or only a manufacturing defect.

SanDisk all the way. When shopping for a SSD (especially these days), most SSD's are close enough speed wise that the average user will not notice a difference. Therefore the features and reliability become the selling point for most SSD's. This is the reason the Samsung 840 Pro and 850 Pro are so popular, its because they are rated to last decades without much wear and tear.

Bottom line: go for the SanDisk Ultra II
