Intel has a better architecture at the moment, but that is not to say AMD CPUs are horrible by any means. They do great in multi-threaded applications for the price such as live-streaming or editing, but single-threaded performance such as most games will almost always go to Intel. Games are starting to utilize more cores, but having strong cores is also important.

EDIT: Just saw turkey3_scratch's reply. Either way, great reply turkey3_scratch.

If you're going to build it Christmas I would wait until then to ask for a build. Prices change frequently. Two months from now prices may be very different and the build today may even be outdated with intel bringing their next cpu soon and amd might be launching their next gpu's some time in early 2015.

I agree with gamer1357, prices constantly fluctuate, a build now would not necessarily be the best later. I would suggest asking this question again when you are within the vicinity of the purchasing date. Until then, read up on PCs, do some research. It might be handy down the road when you are ordering your parts.

I see you pick out intel CPU core. Question what will different between intel and amd cpu cores

AMD processors of the same price usually have more but weaker cores. Intel's are much stronger. AMD chips also use about 3X power and consume more heat.
