hey guys, I am planning to build an awesome pc by the end of december, here are the parts:

and to be honest, I know so little about monitors, and which ones to buy, my goal is to not have the monitor fatigue my head or cause me a headache, as I had this monitor before http://allstarshop.com/shop/LG-Electronics-L226WT-SF_449_19808.html
and that one I once plugged it in using a VGA cable to my current laptop, and compared to the laptop's screen, i actually noticed how much it hurt my eyes and gave me a slight headache, and there was nothing wrong with the monitor.
so now, moving on, I need someone who's experimented alot with monitors to answer this for me, because even for my goal which is a 1080p 23-24 inch screen, I found so many choices, and so many very very expensive ones and cheaper ones, and I am very confused and I am afraid of buying a cheaper one and it would hurt my eyes like that other one did. also, are the difference in how much it hurts the eyes and cause a headache have to do with the cables, like VGA vs HDMI vs DVI vs DISPLAY PORT?
I found what seems to be good BENQ monitors that are around 130-180 bucks, but then some other ones that are 1080p and 24" and much much more expensive so. Any explanations and previous experiences are appreciated, thanks in advance
here are two monitors that I am likely to buy one of:
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/aoc-monitor-e2425swd
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/benq-monitor-ew2420
will these have that weird gamma yellow brightness that will also hurt my eyes? thanks
