What Antivirus Should i get?

I have a windows 8.1 Pro edition and i need a antivirus i dosnt matter if it is free or paid plz just give a suggestion thanks!

I have the free versions of Avast and Avira on my various computers along with the paid for version of Malwarebytes and have never had any problems.

Avast and Avira are not bad but Bitdefender free is a little better, I've tried those as well.

Avast didn't do so well in this round but it's on my Windows 8 laptop and I almost hope it gets something evil so I will have an excuse to replace it with Windows 7.

AVG has a history of breaking computers. I avoid it.
