So i launch call of duty black ops from steam and i get a black screen. then after about 2 minutes the beginning video plays. but stops when the 'LEFT MOUSE skip' button pops up

So, Ive tried everything that i could think of, redownloaded, launched in offline mode, reinstalled directx, my gpu drivers are up to date. Im lost, please help
and i bought this game online a website a while back and i get a steam code. thats how i got the game. no piracy
