Newegg refund on an HDD in transit?

so i ordered a Toshiba 2 Tb HDD off of newegg during a deal, and after a day or two i did some research, and as it turns out, Toshiba HDDs are no good! so, i emailed Newegg and filled out a RMA form, my question is, its in its first day of transit, with roughly 2-3 more to go, so, will they cancel the shipping or will i still receive the package?

If it has already shipped, it will likely come to you. You could just refuse to accept the the product and return it to the delivery guy.

However, you really should ask Newegg about how they would like this to happen.

1. Toshiba HDD's are no worse than any others.
2. You cannot RMA a part you do not have yet.

Up to a certain point in the order shipping process, you can cancel. But once it has shipped, you have to wait until you get it. You've already passed that point.

yeah, idk why but our local UPS doesnt have me sign for stuff, so i cant really refuse it. i'll just have to send it back then
