Which will preform better?

Greeting everyone, I would like to inquire about two different CPUs, the Pentium G3258 and the Athlon x4 760K. Now hold on there, I am not asking for a build and I am aware that the 760K is not the most recent Athlon. What I am trying to do is gather information on their performances in the newest games as well as the upcoming titles. I am also cognizant that these processors are not the greatest for playing these titles. Which of the these two processors will preform better in these situations? The Evil Within seems to be a contender for getting accurate benchmarks for similar performance in upcoming games. Any input would be highly appreciated (except input lag lol). Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the reply. That is clear to me, I also have the knowledge that for multi-threaded apps the Athlon will beat out the Pentium. What I would like to know is that is there so much of a difference between the two that when games begin to utilize more cores across the board, will there be a noticeable difference? Which processor will hold out the best?
