Hi, im new here and i've been looking all over the web looking for an answer for my problem.
My computer is connected directly into the modem i have (Huawei Echolife H35M8245TUK2) but after connecting the wire into my computer there is a loading icon around the connection and then after a while it turns into a yellow triangle with exclamation mark.
I have tried many things from turning the computer and modem off draining the power then turning back on to manually adding IPv4 ips and stuff. And now i am well and truly stuck.

Modem: Huawei Echolife H35M8245TUK2
Motherboard: Asus Z87-K
PSU: XFX Core edition 550w 80+ bronze captive

I have also done a quick search on the internet looking for drivers but i couldn't find any.

Also all wireless devices can connect fine and this is a new router and i've never had this problem on my old one.

Seems like the router is defected or has some errors in the configuration. Your PC isn't getting the default gateway.
First of all, set your IPv4 to automatic. Then contact your ISP and explain your problem, they should fix it with ease. It's either on the server side (repairs in a few minutes) or your router needs to be changed (24 hours top).

You could also try to do a factory reset on your router but i doubt that this will help.

have you tried another cable. Also as stated make sure Ipv4 is set to automatic as well as dns automatic. You can uncheck Ipv6 to see if that helps (as it isnt used yet). You said directly connected to modem but wireless is fine, have you tried another port
