i have an Acer TravelMate P243-MG but the manual seems so vague and seeking for help...i already have a 2gb ram but i cant afford 8gb ram(2 x 4gb) sodimm,so i can only buy single 4gb yet...then i would like to ask if it is possible....i try to match it with the same speed. for the mean time i'm sticking 6gb is not bad for me if it is possible. in addition to that the laptop has 2 slots each slot supports 4gb max and 8gb total
sorry for noob question can i mix 2gb and 4gb in my acer laptop?

It is possible, and I think computer manufacturers do it too (laptops or desktops with 6 or 3 GB's of memory could be 4GB+2GB and 1GB+2GB)
