Hi Riivo

It is perfectly normal for your video card to max itself out in games. In the menus in games they normally apply a frame limiter so it doesnt fry your GPU like starcraft 2 did upon its launch.(http://www.dailytech.com/Hot+Starcraft+II+is+Frying+Graphics+Cards+Blizzard+Issues+Temporary+Fix/article19224.htm)

There is something you can do to reduce GPU temperatures, and that is to limit your maxium frames. Since your monitor is probably 60Hz, you can either enable vertical sync or you can use some other kind of frame limiter to not go over 60fps. If you have a 60Hz screen any frames created by the card will be wasted as the monitor can only draw 60 frames per second. If you limit your frames to 60 and your card is actually...

If you have a 60Hz screen any frames created by the card will be wasted as the monitor can only draw 60 frames per second. If you limit your frames to 60 and your card is actually pumping out 100FPS normally then you would be running at much less than 100% load and the temperatures will come down and your card will also be more quiet.
On my 780ti I limit my battlefield 4 in game at 120FPS in 1440p around medium settings and I managed to reduce my GPU usage from 100% to around 80-90% which reduced the temperatures by about 5C, From about 83C to 78C. It does not always work, meaning there are maps and situations where the frames run around 100FPS, but in general it wont waste rendering frames over 120FPS. It is quite significant, especially in noise as the card runs almost silent, and I even overclock my card 15%.
