Hello, hope I am posting in the right place... just built my first PC, and all seems to be running smoothly so far with one exception- two of the three case fans are not running. They don't start and then stop, they don't run at all. I've scoured the forums here, but I haven't come across any threads with my mobo or case involved. Right now, the front fan is working; it's connected into the mobo fan header labeled SYS_FAN2. The fan on the back of the case is connected into the header labeled SYS_FAN1, and it does not run. The fan on the top of the case, the largest of the three, is connected to header labeled SYS_FAN3, and it doesn't run either. I figure it's more important for these latter two fans to be running since they surround the CPU. In all three instances, the fan connectors are 3 pin females connecting into 4 pin headers on the mobo, which I've come to understand shouldn't be a problem. The pins are the tiny ones, not the larger fat ones, the name for which escapes me now.

(The HSF, PSU fan, and the two fans on the video card are running, so perhaps I don't need these other fans?)

Thanks for your attention and any guidance you can give!

Solution
If you connect the 3pin fan connector into the 4 pin fan header like this http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/img/4pin.jpg and you can try connect the front fan into either sys_fan1 or sys_fan3 to see it works or not. 1)If it works on any sys_fan headers, then that means both rear and top fans are DOA, contact the Rosewill.
2)If the front fan does not work when you plug into either sys_fan1 or sys_fan3, that means the MB has problem, contact the gigabyte.
