Hi people,

I connected my PC to my 40 inch LCD tv via HDMI cable expecting crystal clear display. Unfortunately I can see black and grey horizontal lines scrolling from top to bottom on my screen.

Please help. What should I do to fix it?

My PC specs are: CPU: i5 4460

GPU: Zotax Gtx 750 Ti

Motherboard: Gigabyte H81-MS1.

My TV is a Samsung LA40R81BX 40-inch LCD TV bought in 2008.

I hope this problem can be solved. :)

Thanks in advance.

Solution
You're going to want a 1080p resolution on such a large display. From what I gathered with a simple google search that monitor is limited to
1,366 x 768 resolution.

To improve your situation. Make sure your graphics card is set to display output at 1366 x 768.
