Computer crashes when playing some games or browser, could it be the GPU?

So, I've been running into constant crashes on some games and browser after some minutes of usage. First, the browser. Every browser I use always crashes, tho Google Chrome only shows up "Aw Snap!" page instead crashing. Then, the games. I've been trying to play battlefield 3, bad company 2, and skyrim (those games are my most played games atm) without crashes, and so far no good. They always crash, usually with ".... stopped working" window. Sometimes the crash started with black screen then "driver stopped working and has recovered". So I guess it's the GPU.

Before proceed, I'll list my spec:

ECS A55F2-M3 FM2
AMD Trinity A4-5300
Visipro 4GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9500GT 512mb
HDD 320GB

I'm planning to upgrade those gradually later. But at the moment I think I can only afford for one upgrade only if you guys suggest me to get an upgrade,

Let's continue. So it begins when I'm playing skyrim. I was doing OC to the GPU from 450/1100/400 to 551/(i forgot this one)/500. It was running smoothly, until at one point it started to crash. I thought it was the Skyrim mods, so I did some sorting to my skyrim mods instead. I'm living with crashing skyrim for like weeks, then the crashes started to get even more constant. I started to suspect it was the GPU, but if I underclock it I would get unplayable fps. I also noticed that in some softwares, like origin, I started to see black stripes flickering. Then I started to play BF3, after a few minutes joined the server, it started to freeze for a while, then it's normal again, then it freezed again, then it crashes. Tried everything listed on battlelog forum, including clean driver install and deleting some profile files, still crashed. I stopped playing Battlefield 3, went into Bad Company 2. At first it was pretty golden that I played it smoothly, but suddenly sudden freezes started to happen and crashed the game completely (on additional note, the sound sometimes suddenly dissapeared in game, but when I exit to menu the sound returned).

I also tried to check the GPU temp when I played Battlefield 3, it went to around 63-70C. I dont know if this good or not. Let me know.

Another note, I havent tried memtest. I'll check into that later.
