I need to test whether my CPU is causing my gaming PC to not start. I have a AMD fx4100 In my system at the moment but I feel it is not working as my PC wont start up. It just has a black screen. I have tested the watt of my GPU and it is sending out power and I have tested the RAM by trying each one on its own. My PSU and Motherboard is brand new as I only got them yesterday so I doubt it is them. Does anyone know a cheap CPU that will play games and stuff as at xmas I am getting new parts for the PC (CPU,MOBO,CASE) but until then i need something temp.

PC Specs:
CPU: AMD fx4100 Quad Core
Mobo: GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P
GPU: Msi GTX 770 4GB Twin Frozr
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB (16GB) 2400mz
PSU: EVGA Supernova 850 G2 850w Gold Power Supply
CASE: MS-Tech Hornet
HARD DRIVE: 1TB

The only CPU you can use is the FX-4300 since you have an AM3 chipset motherboard but since you're gonna upgrade soon I'd reccomend getting an FX-8320/8350 right now and probably get your PC to a specialist so as to avoid damaging the expensive CPU and other parts. It might not be the CPU that's causing the pc to not boot. It might be something else entirely. Don't risk your components get help from an expert.
