Windows messed up?

Having some annoying windows problems:

1. Can't run anything with Compatibility troubleshooter
2. when installing cyberlink power director 12: "1628: cannot complete install"
3. when installing windows live movie maker: "error 0x80040705 source D3DX10_42

Pc build:

Windows 8.1 pro 64x bit
120GB SSD samsung 840 evo (windows boot)
1 TB HDD Western Digital
MSI B85-G43 motherboard

sfc /scannow does not find anything

When i run: "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth" I get an error located at C:\

When i run "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth"

When i run "dism /online /cleanup-image /retorehealth" or "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup" I also get an error and a log

I sometimes also get a blue screen with

smile and the text "your pc ran into a problem"

Well that sucks, how is this possible, i installed windows on an empty SSD unalocated space

well maybe a software conflict. or you installed something that override something. you could try this...after install windows and the drivers, install power director first. that way we can isolate the problem.

Do a Checkdisk (Google it) and a Virus Scan eg Avast, Malwarebytes.

You can try starting in Safe Mode (F8) and doing a Computer Repair - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode#1TC=windows-7

or if that doesn't work, try a System Restore back to a time when you didn't have these probelms.

One little problem, i already have done all this be4 i even posted this topic, and restoring back to time won't affect because:

1. i didn't try to install those programs
2. the Compatibility troubleshooter didn't work from the beginning since i installed it

Do a bios reset or update if tyou want. I can't see it being a bios problem. I can see it being a problem with PD12 though. Check their forums and ask for help.

I've got PD11. So far,so good. I had heaps of problems with PD9 though.
