What I already have:-
> Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4GHz processor
> Dell E1914H 18.5" monitor with resolution 1366x768
> 2 sticks of DDR2 RAM 667MHz (Total 4GB DDR2 RAM)

What I am planning to buy:-
> MSI GeForce GTX 750Ti 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
> Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB Desktop & Laptop Internal Hard Drive (MZ-7TE120BW)
> Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO Cooler
> Gigabyte GA-G41M Motherboard
> Antec ASK-4000B-U3 Mid Tower Cabinet
> LG GH24NSC0 DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive
> Seasonic Eco 400W SS400BT PSU

(I am NOT a hardcore gamer. But when I start a game I like I feel like the entire universe asks me to not do anything until I finish it!)

Please comment on my choices.

i would definitely upgrade the motherboard and get atleast a 1155 socket with a pentium g2030 ivy bridge for any gaming at all ..the socket you have is outdated and the cpu is not really powerful anymore .. get a atleast a h61 chipset board with the pentium and you will have a much better machine .. as for the psu i take it you mean seasonic evo and not eco ,,if so then its a solid tier 2 class A psu ...

ok no problem .. just here to help

BTW i you are running a ddr2 ram that is slower than dd2 stock speed so your gaming experience would be really really awful trust me

yea but haswell is stiill superior to ivy bridge though so even though this a great way to go if you could find the budget a haswell cpu setup would be better.. if you go for a newer build go for a 8gb or more 1600mhz ddr3 .and atleast a core i3 4th gen for gaming .. gpu wise your quiete fine but not at the best point though .. 750 ti should be a lovely card with a lot of games still.. btw remember to select the solution so that others with the same querries can be helped by the thread

I won't go for an AMD card. Just my preference! GTX 760 is what comes after 750 Ti I guess but those 760 cards are too costly as compared to 750 Ti ones. Around 8-10k INR more!!! Maybe later I may. ;)

well the radeon 4850 in its nature was considered and to me still considered a beastly card ..believe it or not your 750 ti can barely outperform my card and my card is ancient .. the 750 is about 8fps faster than the 4850 in games like original crysis that didnt require direct x 11 .. as i sad before the only links i can open at this moment is the forum .. please post the names of the cards you are asking about and the setup that you said you were looking into

well that is 300+ in us dollars so you can get way stronger card than a 750 ti for that for example look at this r9 280x
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-double-dissipation-edition-amd-radeon-r9-280x-3gb-ddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card/3451109.p?id=1219091788894&skuId=3451109&st=graphics card&cp=1&lp=11

or

this gtx 770
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/nvidia-geforce-gtx-770-2gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card/1826004.p?id=1219065626957&skuId=1826004&st=graphics card&cp=1&lp=1

GTX 770 costs a lot more here. I guess import costs, tax adds to the USD etc.

How about this one? ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 AMP Edition 2 GB Graphics Card . Its cost is INR 22k. Plus Zotac gives extended warranty.

that card should be better than the 750 ti for sure .. dont you guys use ebay and amazon in india ? you could easily purchase a gtx 770 off amazon and get a decent enough shipping rate or even free shipping if you are lucky .. if you dont use those sites then getting the 760 would be a much better choice over the 750 ti all games and hd playback

much much better i say 8 out of 10 with the setup..
however i recommend you drop one or two of these and get another stick of 4gb ram to get a much better gaming performance and overall speed ..
LG GH24NSC0 DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive
Logitech C310 HD Webcam
Razer Deathadder 2013 6400 DPI USB Optical Gaming Mouse

8gb of ram is the standard for modern day gaming so 4gb will just cause slow downs .. everything else seems pretty good to me though
