I have a home network with several PCs and a Linux server. I have several ports (SSH, HTTP, etc) forwarded to the server. I've recently noticed two IPs attempting to brute force gain access to the server with over 60,000 attempts in the past 3 days.
The server is for private use only, however, I would like to access it from work where I don't always get the exact same IP.
I would like to either whitelist access to only my work IP range as well as my home IP, or blacklist to prevent these malicious IPs.
I used to have a DLink DIR-825 which I thought had this feature. I've since purchased a Netgear Nighthawk AC1750 router which I just discovered definitely does not.
Given my scenario described above, does anyone have recommendations for a good router?
Thanks
