I don't know if this should be in the CPU topic but, a few months back I built my first PC and I am very happy with it. So I was downloading something on cnet and I saw Prime95, so i read the description and downloaded it. Then with no overclock and the turbo disabled, I ran the benchmark, a few minutes later I stopped it because the stock fan was getting noisy. So I opened the case and pointed a house fan to it to cool it down. After that, I ran Prime95 again and a few seconds after it started, it hanged up my PC. So at the time, I thought that it was just a common freeze. So when I restarted my PC everything was fine. Then, I later knew that if P95 crashes, the system is unstable, so my question is, is the system unstable even at stock speeds or was that just a common freeze?
