Hello, first post, be gentle. I looked around but couldn't find exactly what I need, and Im a little confused. Here's my situation.

I have VZW 4g Hotspot, the hotspot then goes to a Linksys 54 I have set up as a repeater in the same home. That repeater then goes to my uncles house where a Sapido router picks up the signal. He doesn't complain much about it being slow.

The Linksys also goes to my grandmothers house using another Sapido router, it is a bit further than my uncle. (Think Triangle). The signal there drops and is slow usually not working at all.

I was wondering if I can get some sort of Point to Point outdoor antennas to work, but not sure if it would help my uncle any? I understand I'll prob need to get all new routers as the Linksys is old. I am very happy with the Sapido's though.

I guess im just asking or recommendations or suggestions on how to move from here. I wish I could get some sort of better internet that wasn't $90 a month, but I cannot. I pretty much have line of sight going to both homes, so besides actual walls of the home there will be no obstacles in the way.

Yes, a pair of the Ubiquiti Air Grid work very well and are inexpensive from somewhere like HERE. It includes everything that you need except the pole and some Ethernet cable x 2 one at each end. Roof top or a high building mount works well if there is line of sight.

The power for it is included (a PoE injector) that just needs to attach to a 120V outlet and converts and runs it into the Ethernet line to the unit.

You can read more HERE and download data sheets and quick start guides at the bottom of that page to see the setup, it is quite simple.

Of course if the conditions are good, like not much concrete, running an outdoor Ethernet cable works very well and is cheaper as long as the distance is under 100m.
