If I buy the FX-6300 with the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard and the CM 212 EVO will I be able to overclock the CPU to 4.5 ghz? If I do will it void my warranty? Will I need a much better PSU? If anyone cares I'm planning to buy a 750 ti 2gb gpu for it.

Overclocking on that board is not recommended. You can do a modest overclock of 4ghz with proper vrm cooling.
Damage caused by overclocking is not covered under warranty.

So I could buy the m5a99fx pro r2.0, that would probably fit for overclocking but it would be the same price as the m5a97 with a 8320. So should I buy the 8320 with the m5a97 and not overclock or the 6300 with the m5a99fx (or any better motherboard) and overclock? More cores is not a problem for me, it isnt for gaming.
