750ti is more then enough for 720. For most games you should be able to max it out. New titles you might have to go for high settings. You are talking about a card that can pull off 30FPS is BF4 at 1080 with all settings turned on.

You should get the fastest clocked card available, however, some of those require external power.

The cpu wont bottle neck the gpu, at least not in benchmarking. You will find however that a strong cpu is recommended for specific games. Games with large amount of online players involved at once can load the cpu extensively. Also games with detailed physics and such. Nvidia does help alleviate this with physX but that is one of those things that must be supported by the game before it comes into play. So if your playing BF4 online or Guild Wars 2 you will see extensive bottlenecking. I built a PC for a friend on the pentium and he sees extreme bottle necks in Guild Wars 2 in Particular. However his average score in benchmarking didnt reflect the bottleneck. After OC'ing to 4.2 some but not all was alleviated, but it is still there. Also the CPU bottleneck in question will not be alleviated if you turn down settings. SO regardless of the settings, if you are playing games with large amounts of players you may still see issues. If this is a one and done buy and you want it to last without upgrade for 3 years take an FX 6300 platform. ALso the MB from AMD will be cheaper. I do recommend the 750 ti though. I have one myself as i had no need for the amount of power my 770 Brought to my comp. Gave away the 770 to a friend and slapped in the 750 ti and for the games i play i saw absoilutely no difference.
