How can I delete cable modem router settings so I can add a newly purchased Wireless-N USB Adapter?

a wireless USB adapter plugs into a computer and allows it to connect to a WIFI router. If your cable modem/router has WIFI already, you don't need to delete anything. If it doesn't, you need to purchase a wireless router. Either way, not sure what you need to delete?

Why dont you tell us what device (including model numbers) you want to get rid of, what you are wanting to change, any other devices/model numbers of wifi adapters/devices that relate to this install/change.
