Error -STOP: 0x0000007B upon startup of ASUS Q550LF laptop. Unable to boot--keep getting error. Have tried Startup Repair with Windows 7 bootable flash drive-which did not fix problem.

Solution
The error usually appears if your computer is infected a boot-sector virus, if there is an issue with a device driver on your computer or an issue with a piece of hardware, try booting with the last known good configuration.

What happened was I had this hard drive In a Lenovo working just fine, so I got some software and uninstalled all drivers ( or most) because I did not want ANY Lenovo drivers on the Asus laptop. So I installed the drive in the Asus an it started up a few times and then I started getting the error. What should I do?

Sorry didn't mean to mark that as solution**

Restart your computer and press f8 and choose last known good configuration from the menu, if this doesn't help you then try reset your bios and coms and see what happens.

I read through the discussion and I saw where you marked it as a 'Solved' issue but you then expressed apologies since it was not a solved issue. Hopefully, you can find some information here to fix this BSOD error.

Let me know what happens.
All the best if you've not already found an alternative to fixing this error.
