There should be a guide to overclocking at the top of this forum; take a look. We generally recommend increasing things in small steps, and increasing the voltage only if necessary to get stable after a step up has proved unstable.
So maybe keep the voltage the same and try 45 or 46 multiplier
Yup if you want to overclock it, i'd leave voltages at stock and push the multiplier till it is no longer stable then either leave it at the last stable clock rate or bump the voltage up slightly... whatever you do don't go over 1.4 volts... I'd keep it at 1.3 or lower myself.
I've got evga 850 gold series psu. 2 evga superclocked 970's 8 gig of 1866 ram. Z97 gryphon mobo. H100 lq water cooler also. I just want to push the cpu a little harder. Right now it's running only at like 42 degrees on load playing bf4 I just would like to know a simple way to tweak the cpu for a little more performance
