gpu usage is suddenly at zero

all of my games are suddenly running like crap, I check my gpu usage and everything is at zero, please help

Are you sure you plugged in your monitor to your GPU? If your HDMI/VGA/DP/DVI etc. isn't connected to ports on your expansion slots (Where the backend of your GPU) it obviously not going to work.

Have you installed the proper drivers? Like for The R9 series GPUs you'll need to download the catalyst. Another scenario would be that the drivers are just corrupted/not working so just uninstall anything related in terms of GPU Drivers and reinstall them from the website.
