So my main monitor is a 24" Asus VE247H (IIRC) which has a max resolution of 1080p which it is set to. My second monitor - I use for watching TV/streaming via the pc is a Samsung UE32F5000 (IIRC) Which also supports 1080p. However, after every reboot(or nearly every reboot) the resolution of the second screen resets to 720p. The settings on the computer show it as being displayed at 1080p,so does the tv. However, displaying a 720p video or image takes up the whole screen so I can only assume its at 720p when this happens. In addition to this , the mouse pointer is much bigger then when it is actually 1080p. Changing the resolution or screen mode i.e. Extended, projector only etc fixes this and the screen shows 1080p. A minor annoyance yes but I'd like to fix it if possible. I'm using integrated graphics from my i5-4670k atm but had a Sapphire r9 280 3GB previously which had the same issue. The monitor is connected via DVI whilst the TV is connected via HDMI. Both are set to refresh rates of 60hz via windows options. I'm wondering if the Intel graphics software is causing this? Drivers are updated to the latest.
