I currently have a FX 6300 and a XFX 550W Bronze PSU.

I am planning on upgrading my HD 7790 to a R9 280

Will my power supply be able to handle this video card? The specs of the card say minimum 750W supply is needed.

Responses appreciated :)

Any opinions on the build with the new video card? From my point of view, it is well balanced.

I am replacing the 7790 because of a defect where blue screens happen.

Measuring my case right now, the XFX 280 is huge.

Also, would you know what I need to do once the new card is in my hands? Do I just install it and turn it on?

The 200r should fit the R9 280. The card is 11.61" long and the 200r supports cards up to 11.81" without drive bay removal. Nice build you have there.

Once you get the card simply plug it in and download the latest drivers for it from AMD's website.

Should have spent a bit more on the graphics card about a year ago when I bought all the parts. The HD 7790 isn't really on-par and I found out it was defective 11 months after I bought it.
