What would be the best gpu pairing for a i5 4690k?

Hello,

I bought a i5 4690k a while ago and now I am looking to upgrade my gpu.

I currently have a Radeon HD 7950 and I think that to truly see a good perfomance boost I need to upgrade. But I could be wrong, so I could use some advice. Also, would overclocking help at all? I do notice that my card does run fairly warm without overclocking it so I'm not sure if I should attempt it.

If I were to upgrade I was thinking to go with a Nvidia card, I just don't know what one.

Anyway, I could use some help in trying to figure this out.

Alright, thanks for letting me know, I thought that there was something that matched the 4690k already but since there isn't, thats great! Means I don't have to upgrade for a long time to come.

I'll have to save up for the GTX 970 but its nice to know that my CPU can take the top of the line GPU's.
