So I received my ASUS Radeon R9 270x today, put it in. Just to see, I started the computer up with a PSU that was only 237W. Nothing. So I installed a 600W PSU, turned it on, still nothing.
So then I put my old graphics card back in, a GeForce 8400, and still the same problem, no signal on the monitor.
Was I an idiot to try to start it up with the 237W supply? Nothing is burnt or smoking, no visible hardware issues.
Any help is much appreciated.
