So I have a graphics card in my computer that I got only about a year ago. Just recently, the monitor on start up would't display anything going on the computer. To fix this I've had to take out the card and put it back in to get it to show anything on the monitor and it's the only way I've gotten it to work.

Solution
It's not unusual to have to "reseat" a graphics card to re-establish a sound connection between it's edge connector and the contacts in the PCI slot. However, I'm surprised it would be necessary with a card you fitted only around a year ago unless the interior was thick with accumulated dust & debris and you've never bothered to give it a good blow out with an air-can.
