Hey guys, what's up?
So, I'm new here and I'd like to ask you guys how to set raid 0 on my motherboard, which is named in the title (Asrock 990FX Extreme 3)
I know I have to download the RAID drivers from the Asrock website because' when I'm installing windows I'll need them, this part I already know.

But the thing is, what should I do? I just bought 3 new 60GB SSDs, before that I only had 1, now I have 4 and that's why I'm asking you how to do it.

Which options should I select and where? Will it be possible to continue using my BluRay Reader?
Thanks a lot, looking forward to get fast answers.

Bye!

RAID0 is dumb. If one drive fails, the data on all drives is gone. If I were you, I'd send back the drives you just ordered and get a single 240GB or 256GB drive; I mean, that would also be cheaper, too, they're only $100.

The only way I'd consider using four drives like that is in a RAID 1+0, basically RAID0 with two drives, mirrored by two identical drives in RAID0 (making both pairs a subset of a RAID1).

But seriously. Don't do RAID0 with four small drives. That's a bad way to do it. If you have to eat $20 in RMA and return shipping fees to exchange it for a single larger drive, it'll be the best $20 you ever spent.
