Hello guys, I have a i5 3570k that I want to overclock.
its not really the help I need to overclock but more the advice about the vcore.
Currently I,m running it at 4.6ghz with a vcore of 1.235v, but I,m running it with a fixed vcore for 24/7, so is this a safe vcore for 24/7 use all the time.

Yes of course I did some testing, did itb run at very high setting, did linx64 run at all mem for 1 hour, and did a couple of benchmarks in a loop like realbench, and played some games, temps are fine, hitting 57 degrees in bf 4 after 1 hour playing.
I,m cooling it with a h100.

Cool. Comparatively I'm running 4.2GHz@1.145 so I'd say that 4.6GHz@1.235 should remain healthy and stable for as long as you want. I've seen other people running 4.5GHz@1.340 on air, so you should be fine running on water.

no I don't think I can, 4.7ghz is the max with this cpu under a h100, then I hit almost 80 degrees in itb.

still nice

I'm pretty jealous to be honest. I cannot seem to get past 4.4GHz and be stable. Hopefully I'll grab myself a CM Seidon 120V and I'll get better results than on my air cooler.

Don,t be jealous, not every cpu is the same, and beside the fun of overclocking and talking about it, whats the point going over 4.4ghz, you wont win that much, by the way do you have the same cpu then, On what kind of bord you are then?

I do indeed have the same CPU :) All my specs are listed here http://imgur.com/a/loTYS#1 though it incorrectly states I that it's on stock frequencies, when in fact I am currently running it at 4.2GHz@1.126v on air.
