I connected a motherboard speaker directly to the board and can't get it to beep. Got the speakers in packs of 20 and tested few of them but still nothing. Have windows 7 on SSD.
The red speaker wire has the little arrow on the connector to say it is + but I've reversed the connection and still nothing. Did windows 7 disable the beep feature? I can't remember, but I think it is supposed to be beep after BIOS checks everything and before windows.
