G.Skill isn't overpriced. They're priced for its reliability and performance. Corsiar are good too, but G.Skill is one step ahead, their heat spreader are better than corsair's, the Ripjaws X performance was made to work well with 3rd gen CPUs than other Gen CPUs, etc. They're the most trusted RAM brands THAN Corsair.

well corsair and g.skill are two well known ones
there are others as well
but these are the two which are used the most
personally i like corasir better
they have the same performance as the g.skill and are cheaper
to me the g.skill prices are unjustified
