Hi all,
I have a Western Digital external hard drive. Since 2 years, he began to react badly with its USB cable (it disconnects sometimes, slow to detect, Windows does not recognize the device, etc. ..). And then the cable began to no longer adapt to the hard drive connector (it comes off very easily). I tried to change the cable, format the drive, low format, etc. .. and none of that has worked.

At some point, the read speed of the drive began to decline (in the order of a few KB/s at the moment). I tried diagnostic tools, repair, but it gives nothing.

Currently, the disc is no longer usable: There is no data on it, I deleted the partition, but I have not been able to recreate one. The scan tools or disk repair take forever to end with displaying an error ...

Data LifeGuard gives me this error : 08-Too many bad sectors!

HINT :
It is no longer under warranty, no data on it, no partition even.

Can you tell me what to do? Should I bury it and bye new one ?
