I want to know if the Zotac GTX 980 AMP Extreme Edition triple slot card will fit on the asus gene vii with the corsair 350D. I will have a network card in the second slot.

the zotac card is truly a 3 slot card and will cover up the second pci-e 16x slot. Are you able to put the network card in the 4x slot at the bottom of the board?

In some rare chance that the GPU does not cover the second 16x slot i would still advise you to put the network card in the 4x slot (if it fits/works there). If you put the network card in the second 16x pci-e slot it will make both of them 8x making your GPU and network card run at 8x speed instead of running them at 16x and 4x.

It will work!
The 350D allows for cards up to 350mm, and the 980 Extreme Edition comes in at 300mm.
Also, the motherboard will give you no problem with the size.
The GPU is a bit over 2 slots, but surely not a 3 slotter, so you`ll not have any problem with the network card.

Go ahead and build this bad boy!
