Hello,

Got a couple of questions....

i got r9 280x direct cu2 asus triple slot editions! in crossfire but the games i play dont need that much power , say evil within still gives good fps if i reduce the clocks from 1500/1000 to 800/800 .so which option is better in the long run....(card life)(power consumption etc) ambient temp is 50 here, though i got watercooling....

running on reduced clocks with 100% load on gpus OR
running on stock clocks with 50% load on gpus

Solution
Wow 1500mhz nice overclock. You can downclock the cards for games that don't exactly need the overclock to run well. Also when you're not playing demanding games.

Im guessing you have overvolted so running it at lower volts and clocks will make card life longer

-good luck
