Can you use Ram from a laptop for a desktop pc

i have a question :is it possible to remove ram from a laptop and use it in a desktop pc

No you can't as the RAM in a laptop is of a different length for starters so they won't fit in the same slots.

No. Unless the desktop is using a laptop's motherboard (extremely rare), the two are not compatible.

In general no. Unless its type of motherboard that accepts SODIMMs (some mini-itx but fairly rare) the RAM sticks will not work.
