No video output to monitor, probably a GPU problem?

I built my PC about a month ago and it's been working fine ever since. However, I've just downloaded MSI Afterburner to over clock and adjust the fan speed (it's very noisy), and now I'm not getting any display. I'm thinking it is definitely be something to do with the video card because this has happened right after downloading afterburner, and the motherboard doesn't flash or beep any differently than normal. Also the monitor isn't broken, it says ASUS when I turn it on so it isn't completely dead or anything. I'm just really stuck as to what to do as I can't even turn on my PC... Any help would be great. Thanks.

Also I have an FX-6300 and MSI R9 280.
