Hey guys, hoping someone can help with a few small questions and troubleshooting.
I just completed by third build...
First of all my I7 is idling around 30degC and is showing 70degC under full load.
Is this above the ordinary?
I think it's ok and it seems fine but on my last build I had a
AMD FX 8320 8 core and it was idiling around 20degC and
50-60degC under full load. I know I7's are high temp anyway but is this too high?

Second question ( this may not be the right section for it) I mainly play Arma 2 mods. With this new build it's working great at very high settings I'm getting between 50-70fps however after some time the screen will crash to desktop and I will still hear the game but can not get the picture back. What could be causing this?
Would it be the RAM?
The GPU drivers?
It doesn't happen with any other game however.. no matter how high I set the graphics. Arma in general is CPU heavy anyway so would it be possible that it's something with the CPU?
Any insight would be appreciated guys
Thanks.

Specs are:
CPU: I7 4790k 4ghz devils canyon
Cooler: evo 212
Mobo: Asus Maximus hero vii ROG
Ram: 8gb cosair 2x4gb
GPU: MSI geforce GTX 970 4gb
PSU: OCZ 650w
OS: windows 7 ultimate

My system cooling is set up as:
2 120m intake fans from the front, top one blowing at cooler intake, other blowing under GPU fans.

A 120m fan on the rear side acting as a exhaust.

Small exhaust fan at top rear behind cooler.

Solution
The temperatures look fine.
I don't think your problem with ARMA II is a hardware issue. It sounds more like a software problem. Try looking around, see if anybody else has the problem.

Thanks for the quick response.
That's good to hear I was slightly worried.
Any idea what may be causing the Arma to crash to desktop? I have found loads of articles on it but none with a soloution. Some were saying its RAM..
others say it's the GPU drivers. (Which is possible as it's a new card type)
... But none have a solid soloution.
I think I can rule out the CPU if it's temps are ok.
