I have 2 sticks of 2Gb 1600mhz G.Skill Ripjaws ram on dual channel and I want to add another stick of 4Gb 1333Mhz ram from another brand on one of the other slots. My question is: Will this affect the dual channel or mess something up in anyway? my mobo is a GA-970A-UD3P

Yes adding the 4Gb stick will make all the ram run and single channel and all the ram will run at 1333mhz.
