I have tried everything, I have presses delete key multiple times, f10, f12, f1. The only option that shows up is f2 which is setup utility and does not allow me to access my bios, please help?
'Aspire 5253' is the model of your Laptop. And, from what I've seen, F2 during POST is the usual method to go to BIOS in Acer laptops, so after pressing F2, you're indeed in the BIOS
F2 (entering the setup utility) is indeed accessing the BIOS on many systems. What make/model is the motherboard, or desktop, or laptop, being referred to here?
The 'Setup utility' is usually the BIOS in many older OEMs and even af MoBos. If options like 'Hardware Monitor', RAM settings, Advanced settings, etc are present, or even one of them, then it is the BIOS.
Thanks for the fast response
