Recently I bought around 10 Asus laptops (P550C) for my company. After I installed all programs I need and made a system image, I did a test to restore from the backup, the system restarts and enters to Asus Preload Wizard. I don't wanna restore to the factory default, because it would waste my time to install programs. Please tell me how to disable the Asus Preload Wizard and use my own backup image.

The OS is 64-bit Windows 7.

Our company uses Symantec GhostCast Server to create & push images of computers, and it works flawlessly for setting up computers with a standardized suite of software as well as computer users and settings.

What is the method you are trying to use?

You could create a system image with Windows Backup, couldn't you??
It worked fine in the past, until I met Asus Preload Wizard.
I won't allow me to boot from backup image or disks.

Then it's a dilemma. I don't wanna delete the recovery partition, because it's the last resort for a clean restoration. Any other thoughts?

OK, that's what I've tried so far.
I ran Minitool partition wizard and hidden the recovery partition. (There's no inactive option for a partition)
Tried to restore from my backup. The system restarted and the asus stuff popped up again.
It ran a batch diskpart commands and unhidden the recovery partition.

Then I took the risk to delete the recovery partition, ran the system restoration.
The system restarted with an error code 0xc0000225.
I only can boot into the normal mode and cannot get into the repair mode.

So frustrated.

There is no driver letter assigned to the partition, so I assign G to it. Reboot.
The same error code 0xc0000225 pops up.
Nightmare.

The sticker on the back of the laptop is Windows 8. The restoration disks are also Windows 8.
That's why I need to make my own restoration disks.
I sent email to Asus technical support, they just told me some Windows basis just like I'm a rookie.
