First of all I want to know if Dragon age will be like skyrim with a ton of quests + free roam or just a campaign game with a short story

But I'm confused since I really loved skyrim and dragon age looks like it a little

I've played Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 and all I can say is that months of time have been spent on trying to get all the possible endings and unlock all the content that's in those games.

Personally, I find that the Assassin's Creed and GTA franchises have been milked to death.
I couldn't even find the motivation to play AC3 all the way through.

Bioware, on the other hand, just seems to make hit after hit.
While I can only speak for my own preferences, getting the new Dragon Age would be definitely worth it.

I hope you are wrong about Dragon Age. Dragon Age: Origins, expansions and Dragon Age 2 are quite different from Skyrim. I find it hard to believe they are going to going to change the franchise into Skyrim. If you haven't played it already, you really should try Dragon Age: Origins. It is one of the best RPG's of all time. These games have a strong story, party combat (you control 4 party members), lots of dialog, and multiple endings and story choices. They are much more like Neverwinter Nights (AD&D type games) than Skyrim.

As to what you'd want, that is a personal choice, they are all different games. I'd pick Dragon Age.
