Black boxes left when highlighting on desktop

when i high lite theres a black box left it hasnt done this before and it also deos it whenever i move apps

Try this. Go to Control Panel>System>Advanced system settings>Performance and in the Visual settings select "show windows contents while dragging". Save settings, reboot and see if it still does it.
