Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum and here is my first question. I bought an R9 290 Tri-x OC for a decent price. Now im trying to chose CPU and Mobo combo works fine with it.

I will probably use this for gaming only. Lets say BF4, Gta V, Shadow of Mordor and such demanding games. I don't allways ask for full Ultra settings. Stable and smooth FPS is more important for me rather than max fps numbers.

I got 2 different thoughts that are like my maximum budget.

Intel Combo;
Intel Core i5 4590 + ASUS H97-PLUS

Amd Combo:
AMD FX X8 8320 + GIGABYTE 970A-UD3P + Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. ( Probably a little Overclock )

So which one would fit my needs better?

Thanks in advance. Ps : In my country upgrading 4590 to 4690 or 8320 to 8350 costs about 40$ and i might not be able to upgrade to that :)

Solution
Either is fine , and will give you identical results in demanding games like BF4 .

The OCed 8320 will multitask a little better so if you are streaming its the pick

Other than that buy on price IMO

I think im going with the intel build. Maybe i'll upgrade my cpu in the future and sell mine with a bit of loss.

I still want to hear Motherboard recommendations for the budget. In my country ASRocks are not available.
