Hi I want to make a gaming rig. The game I mostly play is mine craft. I made around $800 gaming build specifically for mine craft. Here is the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rvx3sY
Why I chose the parts:

Cpu: Minecraft favors CPUs that have strong single core processor.
CPU Cooler: it's a cheap and easy to install cup fan. I can over clock it a good amount with this fan.
Motherboard: Cheap asus mobo that lets me overclock
Memory: Overall a great memory. according to some forum thread I can use 1866 memory if i oc the cpu.
Storage: Great 1tb hard drive. I won't need a ssd
Video card: I won't need a very strong video card for mine craft. This is a really good video card
Case: Cheap Case
PSU: High Quality PSU
Optical Drive: High Quality Bluray player.
OS: Great OS

If you have any comments/ opinions please tell me. If you recommend me any parts please make sure that they are available in microcenter, Amazon, or new egg.

I like the Gpu because it's from nvidia and I think they are a good company. Also my friend has that gpu and he says it's great. The h97 is more up to date and it comes with a lot of features that I like. I think I'll need some extra watts if I overclock.

I don't think there will be a difference in gameplay or frame rate between those two gpu's. Both of those are really great gpu's. I think evga and nvidia have really great drivers which is why I'm leaning towards 750ti. I have no idea how amd's drivers are but they are probably the same. I consider myself a Intel/nvidia fanboy so I probably won't go to amd.

The largest advantage of nvidia is probably shadowplay which records with not as large of an impact on gameplay, but if that feature isn't very useful, AMD has better performance/price ratio at this range. Drivers are basically the same (I have nvidia and amd)

Don't forget advanced PhysX (although probably not at this price range) and with the recent driver updates, older cards will be able to do DSR: http://www.pcgamer.com/nvidia-adds-dynamic-super-resolution-support-to-older-graphics-cards/
