Good evening,

this week I got a new SSD Sandisk 128gb, and I installed as it is said. But when I turned my PC on, I simply can't see it available. Any ideas on how I could fix it? I tried to search on the internet but did not find anything related to it.

Thank you so much!

Solution
Go to disk management. Click on start, then right click your computer, then hit manage. One the left click on Disk management, and it should be listed there. You may need to just format it.

I'm having the same problem. My Computer didn't recognize my new SSD, but Device Manager did. I followed Saywhut's instructions, an went into Disk Management. I got a message saying I needed to initialize (apparently this) drive. IIs that the same as formatting? I wasn't sure so I did neither. Also, it gave me a choice of MBR or GBT. If I understand correctly, MBR would make this my boot drive - which is NOT what I want. But the message box also said GBT is for >2TB, which this is not.

So if initializing isn't the same as formatting (and assuming that's what I need to do) and formatting wasn't given as an option, what do I do? Or can I use the initialize option, and if so, which format? I'm guessing GBT since this isn't my boot drive, even though the disk isn't 2TB.

Thanks
