Is this build good? budget is 800ish$

Solution
This is what I'd do , It's a little bit more expensive but much better. You can always remove the SSD and add it later.

Are the parts you replaced perform better than the ones I picked?

Yes and here's why :

1- H97 Motherboard with Wifi so you'd have the ability to use the PCIe slot for the Graphics card with full bandwidth also H97 which means that it will support the CPU right out of the box with no bios updates moreover the mobo will support the new upcoming Intel CPUs named Broadwell.

2- 2x4 GB of RAM to run in Dual channel which will run faster.

3- The Addition of the SSD will make your PC Boot faster and load up games in lightning fast fashion.

4- R9 290 will decimate games at 1080p or even 1440p . Better than the GTX 770 while costing less.

5- Antec High current gamer supports Haswell and is Tier 2-A , as good as your PSU but looks nicer.

6- Your case was very overpriced .

Really appreciate your time for helping me out. Also wanted to know if I should run the build with just the ssd card since I'll probably only install 2-3 games till i get money for the hard drive or just get the hard drive and get the ssd later? Oh and I'm planning on buying these on black Friday. I'm just making my build right now so I can watch their prices if they ever go down for cheaper.
