With the i3, you can't do sli in the future unless you upgrade CPU because the 760 will start to become limited (bottlenecked) by the i3. With the above i5, you can even get a stronger single GPU such as the 770 if you wish.
Let me know if you plan to overclock as you will need a different board, CPU and cooler.
The board you should get depends on the features you want and the stability. In my opinion, ASUS boards are the most stable and feature packed boards. They do have a little premium price but its well worth it because it is the main interface in your system and if your board fails, then your whole system is down.
